The Spring-Summer 2010 Diesel ad Campaign “Be Stupid” has been a most original and most successful in recent seasons. And Diesel is always conspicuous by its originality. The brand of jeans called in its campaign to be stupid, take risks and go “beyond” the intelligent and common sense of life.
At the time of the campaign, Diesel wanted normal people, street, and fans flocked to the casting of its music video catalog. And the challenge was really attractive: the first part of the fashion-tagged music video history, inspired by the film Bande à part of Jean-Luc Godart.
The video features the participation of 100 chosen to reproduce the famous dance to stupid Diesel style. If Rosie Huntington Whiteley had not become,at the last moment, the new star of Transformers 3 by replacing the bargain icon of charm and sensuality as Megan Fox, the news probably would not have had the same echo.
But now, things are different. The models of Victoria’s Secret has nothing to envy to the bombshell that was replaced in the film and, apparently, is defended very well in terms of sex appeal.
