8.8-magnitude quake that occurred in Chile, Saturday (02/27/2010) had taken many lives and make a lot of people separated from their families

As a form of sympathy, Google immediately enable the tool “person finder” to help the earthquake victims, or even find friends who lost their families.

Tool that can be accessed at Chilepersonfinder.appspot.com is available in two languages, namely English and Spanish.

Users who use this tool will be presented with the question “What is your situation?” and there are two choice situations, ie “I’m looking for someone” and “I have information about someone”

Then users can search data by typing the name person. This tool also been provided by Google to help search for earthquake victims in Haiti some time ago.
